Welcome to Velvet Paws. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website (the "Site") and any products or services offered through it. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About Us

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order. By placing an order you confirm that you are.
3. Products
We make every effort to display the products on the Site as accurately as possible. Colors, sizes, and packaging may vary slightly from images. We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse or cancel orders, and to discontinue products without notice.
All product descriptions, ingredient lists, and feeding guidelines are provided as general information. They are not a substitute for veterinary advice. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for health-related decisions about your pet.
4. Pricing & Payment
All prices are displayed in Qatari Riyal (QAR) unless otherwise stated and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Card payments are completed through secure hosted checkout provided by SkipCash or Tap. Cash on delivery, when available, is collected upon delivery. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method. A card order is confirmed only after the hosted payment is verified; cash on delivery is paid upon delivery. We reserve the right to cancel any order if payment cannot be verified or if pricing or product information was displayed in error.
4A. Subscriptions & Renewal Payments
When you choose a subscription, the products, quantities, unit prices, recurring cadence, and shipping method shown at checkout form your renewal plan. For new subscriptions, a promo code you manually enter is retained and checked for its current discount and eligibility at each renewal; automatic promotions do not recur. If the saved code is unavailable or ineligible, that renewal receives no discount. Each cadence creates a separate order and counts separately toward promotion limits and campaign budgets.
The displayed future amount uses locked subscription item prices, the saved promo code's current terms, and the current delivery snapshot. Item tax is excluded. Actual delivery and tax are recalculated when the renewal order is created.
Monthly subscriptions renew every 4 weeks (28 days). Your first checkout includes the first subscription order.
A Velvet Paws account is required so you can review your plan, renewal orders, payment status, and cancellation controls. At each scheduled renewal date, we create one renewal order using the locked item prices plus current delivery and tax rules; existing orders are unchanged.
SkipCash or Tap may be used for the complete amount due at the first checkout. Every scheduled renewal order uses cash on delivery, and its amount is collected when that renewal is delivered. We do not automatically charge a saved card or create a hosted renewal payment.
You can cancel your subscription from My Account. Cancellation stops future renewals from being scheduled. It does not cancel or refund a renewal order or payment already created before your request.
5. Orders & Acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. Your order is accepted only when we send you an order confirmation email or message. We may decline an order for any reason, including but not limited to product unavailability, suspected fraud, or shipping limitations.
6. Shipping & Delivery
We ship within the State of Qatar. Shipping fees and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the address you provided.
If a delivery fails because the address was incorrect or no one was available to receive it, you may be charged for re-delivery.
7. Returns & Refunds
We accept returns of unopened, unused products in their original packaging within one day of delivery if the goods are damaged. To request a return, contact us at hello@velvetpaws.com with your order number and reason. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will refund the purchase price to the original payment method within a reasonable time.
The following are not eligible for return for hygiene and safety reasons unless defective on arrival:
- Opened food, treats, or perishables
- Used grooming items
- Litter and litter accessories that have been used
If a product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights under Qatar Law No. 8 of 2008 on Consumer Protection.
8. Marketing Communications
By signing up for our newsletter, waitlist, or WhatsApp / SMS marketing list, you consent to receive promotional and transactional messages from Velvet Paws. You can opt out at any time by:
- Email: clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or replying to ask us to remove you.
- WhatsApp / SMS: sending STOP, or messaging us with the word UNSUBSCRIBE to +974 5557 9052.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. We do not sell your contact details to third parties.
9. Account Information
If you create an account, you are responsible for protecting access to your email account, device, and one-time sign-in codes, and for activity that occurs under your account. Do not share a sign-in code with anyone. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, product photography, designs, and the "Velvet Paws" name and marks — is owned by Velvet Paws or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any content on the Site without our prior written consent.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its accounts, or its systems
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to harvest data from the Site
- Interfere with the security or performance of the Site
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
12. Disclaimers
The Site and all products are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velvet Paws disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velvet Paws shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Site or any product purchased.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms or in connection with the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be excluded under Qatari law, including but not limited to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Velvet Paws harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
15. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information, including your choices about optional analytics cookies.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will notify users by email or prominent notice on the Site.
17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
